Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat happens when I make my first appointment?Making contact, for most people, is very hard, because you are recognising you have a problem. I am aware of how nervous people are and I will help you discuss the issue in a sensitive way. Most people think they have to talk about everything on their first visit; you don't, the first visit its about getting to know each other. What happens if I don't want to continue? That is fine, part of the process is helping people to make decisions. All I ask is you tell me you don't want to continue rather that just leaving. That way we can end things together. How do I pay? It is usual for people to pay after each session, but arrangements can be made to bill organisations where they are paying on your behalf. I don't want people to know I am in Therapy The service is completely confidential, no records are kept and even the building has no outward signs of what it is. |
